Archaeologists are conducting an excavation at Oak Lane, Bredon before Newland Homes can develop the area into residential spaces. The site is believed to hold Roman-era archaeological remains, thanks to initial trial trench assessments. The site features a well from the Roman period that seems to have been intentionally sealed with ritual significance. Near its base lies a human skeleton along with three cremation urns and several canine remains discovered during excavation.
