ROMAN TRIREME GALLEYS (x2) 1/600 scale Rule the Mediterranean with these two 1/600 scale trireme galleys, complete with separate fore and main masts (with either furled or full sails), 2 types of signifer (flags) and optional infantry figures to decorate the decks. Each Trireme is 63mm long. The Trireme was the workhorse of almost every ancient navy, serving for hundreds of years from the North Sea to the Black Sea. The Triremes in this set are based on Roman ships, suitable for the Punic War era. (264 - 146 BC). Coming soon: Carthaginian Triremes, and Biremes and Quinquiremes for both sides of the Punic Wars. Stay tuned! As with all Miniature Martin releases, the Roman Trireme Galleys set has been successfully test printed on an Elegoo Mars 2 Pro or Saturn printer. NOTE: Caution when removing supportsTake care removing the supports from the undersides of the oars. It is recommended to wash the print, then before curing it, use a hairdryer to soften the supports before trimming them off with side-cutters.
