This is a precise recreation of a Roman Trireme Battle Ship dating back to the Roman Empire era; it was constructed based on drawings created in 1861 at the behest of the French Emperor by naval researchers. The ship boasts a length, measured from one perpendicular end to the other, of 39.25 meters and a floating length of 39.7 meters, with a width of 5.5 meters and a draught of 1 meter. Designed as a war vessel, its prow was equipped with a sturdy bronze ram, known as 'rostrum', that proved extremely effective in smashing the sides of enemy ships and rapidly sending them to the bottom. At the same time, a mobile bridge fitted with metal hooks called 'corvus' was available for use in boarding other ships, allowing Roman warriors to engage in fierce battles on hostile vessels. A similar ship could accommodate approximately 130 sailors and rowers along with around 100 naval soldiers aboard. The present model has been carefully developed with a comprehensive internal structure and functional rowers and is ready for animation. To ensure the highest level of accuracy, numerous textures were used, and the model's dimensions can be significantly reduced by replacing textures with flat colors when depicting the ship from a distance.
