Roman Shrine Wall Yorkshire (B)

Roman Shrine Wall Yorkshire (B)

This model stems from reimagining a limited number of scanned record photographs of fragmented wall sections from a Roman shrine at West Heslerton, North Yorkshire, excavated in the 1990s. The model showcases the feasibility of modeling legacy photographs not initially captured with photogrammetry in mind. By adding control points to multiple images, coverage has improved significantly compared to an uncontrolled model (https://skfb.ly/6L6Dr). While it lacks the integrity expected from a thorough photogrammetric survey, further details can be obtained by exploring the excavation archive at http://www.landscaperesearchcentre.org/settle/12AFAREA.HTM
