With his gaze fixed intently to the right, his eyes locked in sharp focus, his hair sprang out from the crown and cascaded down in elegant comma-like folds over his temples, forehead, and nape of the neck; his left ear and tip of nose were expertly restored to a marble-like sheen, while the rim of his right ear was skillfully crafted from plaster, with the underside of his neck meticulously polished for secure attachment to a statue or bust.
