Description of the archaeological site: Fonte da Senhora 7, a Roman necropolis located in Montemor-o-Novo, Portugal, boasts an impressive archaeological piece housed at the Archaeological Museum of Montemor-o-Novo. This late production roman lucerne dates back to the 3rd to 4th century AD and is notable for its round spout that slightly protrudes from the rest of the lucerne body. A rare find in the region, this artefact originates from the archeological site of the Necropolis of Fonte da Senhora 7, a Roman-Late Burial Site from the 4th century AD situated near the Minutos Dam, which was excavated in 2001 and uncovered fifteen graves carved into the rock along with associated funeral archaeological pieces.
