Reconstruct the Ancient Roman Legionary Siege Tower as described in Vegetius' De Re Militari using accurate scientific data and archaeological evidence. The tower features three levels: a lower level with a battering ram, an intermediate level for soldiers and drawbridge mechanism, and an upper level for archers and missile troops. Completely covered for fire protection, the tower was constructed from materials like cattle raw skin, unfinished leather sacks filled with fire-proof materials, or treated to be fire-resistant. Specially trained soldiers used water sacks to extinguish fires. The Roman battering ram had its head in the frontal position, unlike some earlier designs. The siege tower with an incorporated battering ram appeared around the first half of the 1st century AD and was widely used by the end of that century. A second tower model without a battering ram is also included for reconstruction works related to the era before Augustus' Empire. The package includes animatable elements like the battering ram, drawbridge, and wheels. It comes with C4D editable NURBS ropes animation, various textures, and is available in multiple formats. These high-definition models are perfect for rendering ancient Roman scenes or reenactments.
