Roman Hypercaust
thingiverse
Roman central heating is an ancient method of warming homes using warm air that circulates through ducts under the floors and walls to heat the space above them. The Romans built their houses so that they could harness this warmth naturally, often with a hypocaust - a space under the floor where hot air would rise up into the room. This system was very effective in keeping rooms cozy even on chilly winter days.
