Roman Hand Abacus (Pocket Abacus)

Included here are files for two versions of the Roman Hand Abacus (often referred to as the Roman Pocket Abacus due to its size). It was a portable abacus used by engineers, merchants, and tax collectors to make calculations. Only four hand abaci are known to have survived ancient times (three bronze & one ivory, the ivory abacus is missing). Replicas exist but are not very common. I made these because I couldn't find a way to purchase one directly and am sharing for those who may have a similar desire to have one of these. This is a great print for those interested in arithmetic history.
