Roman funeral altar of Canídia Albina dates back between the years 201 AD and 285 AD from Évora's ancient walls. Carved into marble, it is lavishly decorated with intricate plant motifs, a jug, and a patera. Its main face bears an enduring inscription: "To the spirits of the deceased, Canídia Albina, most esteemed woman, mother to Catinius Canidianus, also most esteemed man, brother-in-law to Acilianus Catinius, daughter of Marcus, Aciliana, most noble woman. Erected by her own funds." This magnificent piece is now safeguarded in the Frei Manuel do Cenáculo National Museum (Évora, Portugal). Catalog Number ME1718.
