Roman Emperor Coin Charm

A one-of-a-kind pendant is born from the fusion of ancient Roman coinage and modern 3D design, created entirely within Blender software. Inspired by the intricacies of Roman currency, this unique piece tells a story that spans centuries. Roman currency was once the lifeblood of the Empire, comprising gold, silver, bronze, and copper coins that circulated widely throughout its vast territories. Introduced during the Republic's third century BC, Roman currency underwent numerous transformations over time, adapting to the changing needs of the people and the evolving power structures of the Imperial era. Finishing techniques played a crucial role in bringing this pendant to life, starting with a bold statement made by spray-painting it black. The next step was to apply a rich layer of dark-gold gilding wax, adding depth and warmth to the design. To accentuate its intricate details, yellow-gold gilding wax was carefully highlighted, creating a sense of movement and energy. Finally, a delicate polish and buff were applied to give the pendant a lustrous finish that seems almost otherworldly.
