This model brings the actual state of the Roman Cemetery on the Via Ostiense in Rome to life. This particular section highlights tombs 4, 9, and 15. The data driving the models was gathered in May 2017 through a combination of photogrammetry and direct survey with a total station. Detailed annotations lay out the characteristics of the cemetery and key aspects of Roman funerary culture. To explore an alternate section of the cemetery, simply head back to the reference model.
