Roman Cathedrale (parametric)
thingiverse
Begin by printing a single arc of your Roman-style cathedral to test its stability under its own weight; ensure lateral forces aren't too excessive. Edit the size of the arc and the number of stones per arc using the OpenSCAD file. For nicer corner pieces, use 15 pie-shaped pieces per arc, deviating from the original design with 17 pieces per arc. To assemble arcs, print a scaffold. Reach out for additional STL files if needed. Experience a virtual walkaround of the cathedral on YouTube: 'www.youtube.com/watch?v=2_VJvKemddQ&feature=youtu.be'. The music is electroviolon by Tictac from Jamendo. The animation demonstrates a cathedral with five rows and seven arches, while a zip file containing all .scad, images, and .stl files is also available for download. Enjoy the process!
