myminifactory
Marble box with lid, employed for the entombment of two infant males. Flaming candelabras rest on dolphins at every corner of the front, while a winged Sphinx perches atop the central stem. Pomegranate flowers hang from either side of inscribed tablets framed with molded ornamentation. A wreath of fruit, secured by sashes, adorns one side, as birds peck at a lizard and others scratch at the garland. On the opposite side, another identical wreath displays two birds feeding their young in a nest and two more pecking at the floral arrangement. The cover features a pediment design, complete with a shell at its center and a dolphin at each corner, surrounded by rosettes on either side.
