This high poly chair 3D model was rendered in V-Ray, with its stack remaining uncollapsed. It includes all textures and has been thoroughly tested using Checkmate Light software. All files, including 3DS, FBX, and OBJ, were exported without the meshsmooth modifier. There are no hidden objects; instead, everything is grouped together, making it easier to work with. Additionally, all objects have materials assigned and are free from any missing textures, with texture paths also cleared. One notable feature of this chair model is its precise scale, where all units match exactly to 1:1 cm in the real world. It's even designed with lights and cameras pre-set for immediate rendering. Those familiar with 3D modeling know that tweaking lighting and materials can be essential to achieving the right look on a given platform. To keep things simple, this model has been optimized specifically for V-Ray within 3ds Max; if you decide to use it in another program, simply make the necessary adjustments. SEAMOOR, a pioneering prototype, started with uncomplicated shapes - straightforward legs and curved arms created using rasps to add definition. Over time, we refined our design process to create stronger, more unique chairs. For SEAMOOR, we wanted to not only contribute something new but also follow the Scandinavian tradition of making something that's durable yet elegant. In a nod to simplicity and sustainability, our team chose eco-friendly seagrass harvested from conserved meadows for its material. We're often fond of wrapping SEAMOOR in soft sheep's pelts for added comfort and coziness. The chair seen here features White Oak wood with a waxy finish. Hand-knotted patterns that blend harmony add a robust texture, making it durable. A woven seagrass design, specifically, cradles users while offering stability due to its checkered pattern of woven strands.
