RoMac Case
thingiverse
2 part case with switch plate for RoMac 2.1 macropad by kingly-keys. I am using the nice!nano microcontroller.Requires:10 x 5mm M2 screws4 x 6mm M2 screws14 x Short M2 heat-set inserts(Might be able to use some screws included in original kit)Design is untested as I don't have access to a 3D printer. Though I have tested switch plate dimensions in card successfully. Based on measurements taken by myself. Design inspiration taken from the KBD67 Lite. The inset of on the underside of the base is intended for mounting the RoMac backplate to both make use of the rubber feet included in the kit and act as an aesthetic "weight". Plastic window from original kit can be mounted with either screws or double sided tape, on the underside of the top housing.Unless using hotswap sockets like myself, switch plate is more for aethetics.I would really like to see this mocked up and the dimensions tested. I plan on doing this myself at some point. But any feedback from physical testing including fit and feel, as well as print settings would be appriciated.
