Roly-poly toy (Nevalyashka)
thingiverse
Roly-poly toys were extremely popular a few decades ago, captivating children's imagination with their tilting mechanism that stood them up in a vertical position. This particular design is the Russian version known as Nevalyashka. The toy's design accommodates a 1" (25.4mm) steel ball insert object but will also function correctly with balls of 20-25 mm in diameter. For those interested in having an upper part painted in two colors, adding M600 code at the 32.9 mm layer height is all it takes. The model was printed using a 0.15 mm layer height. The face of this toy was brought to life with acrylic paint. For viewers who might experience difficulties connecting the screw, reducing the size by 0.5% or less in both x and y directions may provide a solution. In three different 3D printers tested by friends, however, no issues were encountered.
