Minor tweaks to the rolling stick gadget are underway. I've modified the end caps, making them slightly shorter. Now, an M8 nut can be installed as the weight and is cleverly concealed inside. If desired, two or three nuts can be stacked together. To achieve optimal results: - Print the end caps solid, using 100% infill with a flexible filament. - While regular filaments can also be used, a soft pad will need to be applied to the end afterwards. - Print the center section in any desired plastic, but it should have around four shells and four to six top and bottom layers with zero infill. For reference, an older version of this design uses an M5 bolt instead of nuts for the end cap weight. You can find that on Thingiverse under ID 2181678.
