Rolling Plinth

thingiverse

Crafted specifically for herb aficionados, this versatile tool ensures easy and clean assembly of your herbal bundle. It's also perfect for rolling up cigarettes. For a roll-up-only version, simply adjust the Z scale to 65%. Print settings include Prusa i3 Mk2 as the printer, no rafts needed, and no supports required. Resolution ranges from 0.1 to 0.4, while infill varies from 0% to 50%, depending on your preference. However, always print vertically to avoid poor printing quality. Avoid using brims during printing for hassle-free removal. Three printing methods are available: solid (with varying infill percentages), hollow (with 0% infill and 4 perimeters), and spiral (preferably with a 0.35 layer height for strength). Post-printing might require fine-grade sandpaper to smooth the bottom layer's edge, ensuring it doesn't catch on your rolling paper. The design was inspired by a friend's metal offcut and refined using SketchUp, drawing inspiration from a small blue rubber hammer and an electric sprout.
