Rolling Pin Spacer Set
thingiverse
This is a set of rolling pin spacers designed specifically for making evenly thick dough with my 54.25mm rolling pin that fits snugly on each end due to pressure fitment. To ensure accuracy, I printed these spacers using a brim, which added a slight thickness to the ring that can be easily shaved off to account for any discrepancies in the pin's thickness. Included are three versions: 1/8", 1/4", and 1/2" for different dough thicknesses. The text is recessed on one side of each spacer. To create these spacers, I printed them slowly with PETG, which took approximately 90 minutes per piece. For added detail, I filled the numbers using nail polish and then wiped the flat surface clean with acetone. However, be cautious when using acetone as it can damage certain types of plastic. Before applying any substance to your model, test the plastic's compatibility with acetone first. Acetone will melt ABS, but it is supposed to be harmless to PLA.
