I made Thing jump while running fast using a Laser cutter. The MDF board was just 2mm thick and the bamboo stick stood at an impressive 5mm in diameter. To hold it all together, I carefully placed it on top of the Hubsan with a cellophane wrapping. The final product weighed in at exactly 16 grams but wouldn't even get airborne until it reached the magic number of 23 grams.
