Rollie Pedal Box

Right now this design is just an idea (not worth building yet unless you want a prototype), however if anyone is interested in the concept behind this creation I'm willing to develop it further with the necessary space for components and other functional details. I haven't seen any previous examples of effects pedals designed like this, but it should be fairly obvious why I created it this way. Essentially it allows the musician to change the effects settings of the pedal with their foot. If they can turn an effect on/off with their foot, why not adjust its settings too? I'm sure there are some bugs to work out with the design (it needs to be durable for one thing). So it will be an ongoing process to improve this if there's enough interest. And if you like stuff like this, don't forget to help out at my Patreon account: https://www.patreon.com/pauljs75 Thanks! --- Edit (10/30/2018) --- Added another WIP version of the base. Just to make it clear that the knobs are going to need internal support sleeves of some kind. This was intended, but the rough blocked out version didn't make that exactly clear. You don't really want to jam down too much and lever against the adjusting spindle post of a potentiometer, so there needs to be some kind of support bearing to prevent that. Still trying to figure out how to clamshell it though. How to make it clean, but open up nice in order to fit potentiometers that are facing outwards in opposite directions. Also solid enough to be stepped on and tossed about. Other than that, it's a simple hinge point for the activation switch cover, perhaps somewhere to anchor a spring, and openings for the power I/O switch and sockets.
