Converting Old School Rollerblade ABT System to Mount Newer Brake I successfully converted my old school Rollerblade circa-1995 Active Braking Technology system to accept a newer style Rollerblade brake. Initially, I was concerned that all older generation brake pads were sold out or discontinued, but after conducting an extensive search online, I managed to find a replacement pad. To perform the conversion, I purchased a new Rollerblade Standard Brake Pad Inline Skates from an online retailer using part number B077Y8517K. Installing the New Brake Pad The installation process involved raising the ABT lever arm to its topmost notch. As this modification was made at the time of writing, I had not yet tested it.
