The woodworking roller supports' plastic end caps broke down. The replacement parts, printed and designed to fit, support the ball bearing and are precisely sized for a two-inch sleeve. Conveniently, this assembly also suits 1Kg ABS spools from Makerbot. After printing two new caps, insert the original ball bearings into the interior of each cap; at a 15% fill, they'll firmly secure in place. Lastly, slide the end caps into the main sleeve and use tape if additional snugness is desired.
