Roller support for Brompton(tm) bike
thingiverse
This text explains the process of creating a small support for mounting roller wheels onto a Brompton bike using 3D printing technology. The instructions are provided to ensure proper orientation during printing, as incorrect orientation may result in breakage. A picture is included for reference. Original bolts were used to attach the support onto the bike while wheels were bolted to an 8mm threaded rod. The design file, Support.scad, was created using OpenScad and exported to stl format. Printing was done with Repetier and Slic3R software that enabled generation of support material on a Prusa i3 printer. This is the first project for the individual who hopes that it will be strong enough.
