This project involves constructing a 1:12.5 scale model of a Vekoma MK 1212 rollercoaster train, featuring seven coaches including normal frames, chain dog and anti-rollback frames, and an end coach. The completed model will measure approximately 1.4 meters in length. To achieve this, various parts need to be sanded smooth, painted, and glued together, such as the main axle, wheel carrier parts, and coaches. The construction process also includes fitting wheels, attaching passenger harnesses, and assembling front and tail sections of the train. Undecided on whether to display the train in a straight, corkscrew, or loop configuration, the model will require careful attention to detail and fine-tuning for seamless assembly.
