Roller Blind Motor Adapters

28 Jan 2021: Added adapters for 35mm blind tubes. Short story is,... I bought 25mm blind motors which came with 25mm adapters, then realised I actually had 38mm blind tubes, so designed these to replace the original parts. So these are adapters for a 25mm (1") automated blind motor from Aliexpress to convert to 35mm (1.3") or 38mm (1.5") blind tube styles as pictured. May fit other automated blind motors also. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32989424153.html Print parts, remove retaining clip from drive shaft and remove the existing 25mm adapter. Slide the coupling to the far end and slip over the crown roller (part at the 'wire' end). Ensure it rotates freely (I added 2 small drops of super glue to crown roller first to hold coupling in place) Slide the drive adapter onto drive shaft and reattach retaining clip. Optionally print tube end cap idler (if you don't already have one with your tube). Requires the metal retaining rod that comes with the blind motor kit from Aliexpress (so remove retaining clip, remove metal rod and add to new end cap. If the metal rod is too tight for the end cap idler hole, simply use a drill bit to enlarge the hole. The metal rod should spin freely) Note that the drive adapters are 0.5mm smaller than the tube so it inserts inside the tube easier. It should not be an excessively tight fight. The coupling and end cap idler should be a relatively tight fit however. If you like it, click Like! If you make it, post your Make! If you have a problem with it, post a Comment and I will try and fix it. If you have a variation to the existing let me know and I'll try and make a suitable alternative.
