This is a proof of concept model, featuring 7 rolling elements held securely in place by an outer cage. Created using AutoCAD 123d, I've made the CAD file available for editing purposes. To ensure adequate clearance between the rollers and cage, I printed this design at a scaled-up size of 120%. The result is a functional spinning mechanism. In version 4 of this design, I introduced a cutout within the inner cage with the intention of facilitating disassembly. Unfortunately, this approach did not yield the desired outcome. If you have alternative suggestions for improving disassembly efficiency, please share them with me. The design itself has been optimized to accommodate easy printing without support material and minimal infill density.
