In this project I designed a bed mount and belt & idler mechanism to replace the roller bearings of my 3D printer. I own a Kuongshun K10 3D printer, which is a unique mix of Geectech A10 and Ender 3 features. Bed leveling issues plagued me due to wiggly roller bearings, so I decided to swap them out for linear guides. My Y-axis T-slot has a chamfer that I utilized, and I purchased A4BI Linear Guides with 9mm width and 6mm thickness. Fortunately, they also have a chamfer, making it easy to assemble without any calibration tools. A few T-slot nuts and M3 5mm long Allen screws secured the guides in place. For belt & idler, I adapted Kdmshark's design for GT2 Idler Pulley from Thingiverse and created an M6x24mm screw tight tension mechanism. Items include: 2020 T-slot nuts, M3 5mm long Allen screws, A4BI Linear Guides, M5 12mm long Allen Screw and nut to mount the bed, M3 19mm long screws for mounting everything to linear guides, M6 26mm long Allen screw for belt mechanism, and M8 25mm long Allen screw to mount GT2 idler pulley built around 608zz ball bearing.
