Notwithstanding, the design comes with one significant flaw; namely, that the cylindrical rollers have an unsettling tendency to rotate while in motion. Despite this glaring shortcoming, it has become apparent that the roller bearing does run with notably greater smoothness compared to its geared counterpart.
