I opt for a cardboard tube from a sandwich wrap roll to serve as the axle because it's larger in size, generates less friction, and is lighter in weight. In addition, I've included two parts to maintain the filament roll in its desired position, allowing you to keep two rolls on the same holder without them touching or experiencing lateral displacement. The cardboard tube measures 26 mm in diameter and has a thickness of 1.5 mm.
