Replacement guide wheels for ROLKAN garage doors can be found in The Netherlands. These wheels are useful when the original ones wear down and become a bit "square". Since the original replacement wheels are hard to find, these printed alternatives come as a lifesaver. Made from two parts, they allow for easy assembly and alignment without having to take out the springs or the door itself. To print four wheel-halves, replace both of the worn-out wheels. Dimensions (mm): Outer diameter = 43 Hole diameter = 20 Width = 20 Print Settings: Printer Brand: Ultimaker Printer: Ultimaker 2 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.25mm Infill: 50% Notes: I placed the flat side on the building plate. Wall thickness = 2.5mm for added strength. Post-Printing: After removing the optional 3D-printed support structure, ensure that the halves fit together properly. This may take some effort. Next, bring the parts and hard-plastic glue to the garage door. I used PVC glue successfully. There is no need to disassemble the garage door. Clean hardened grease thoroughly from the vertical rails (took me half an hour). Use a chisel and hammer to break the old plastic wheels into pieces and remove them. Apply glue on each half of each new wheel. Place one half below the steel wheel axis (attached to the door), and one above it, connecting the halves.
