The Roland MDX-15 struggles with maintaining height while cutting PCBs and sheet material due to deflection or puckering. However, a collar can be mounted on the cutting block using adjustable ball screws for precise height setting. Mcmaster parts 98625A650 and 98625A960 are needed; bushing holes should be drilled at 0.312". To use, zero the cutting tool, adjust set screws to allow ~0.005" clearance under the ball, and visit makeitlabs.com for further guidance. Print without raft or supports, apply 2-3 skins with 25% infill, and perform minor post work on faces meeting the block. Bushing installation requires a 5/16 drill bit from the bottom.
