This clamp is suitable for a stand with 38mm diameter tube. There are two files: the clip itself, and the adapter for inserting a 12mm threaded rod. You need a 12mm threaded rod to screw directly into the plastic of the adapter to support a tom. Without the adapter the clamp can serve as direct support for the TD9kx module for example. you can use M6 screws to tighten the clamps
