Roland Drum Rack Clamp (remix)
thingiverse
I am using this Remix from the User **"sch5034"** https://www.thingiverse.com/sch5034/about I'm mounting the cymbals on my Roland TD12K Drumkit since the original ones broke. It may also work with other drumkits, as the diameters are somewhat standard. I redesigned it so that you can install it without having to remove the rack tubes from the drumrack. In my case, I had to remove them to get it installed. You can print it without support, too. Don't be confused by the holes; they have a 0.2mm layer to let it print without support, so it's not an issue with the STL file. The main hole (larger one) to mount on the drumrack is slightly bigger in diameter. There's a STL file called **"FlexPart_V1.stl"** that needs to be printed with Ninjaflex or similar flexible filament. Check out one of the pictures showing the little white layer between the clamp and the rack; it provides a good grip on the drumrack. Without it, I had some issues with not being properly fixed on the drumrack. There's also a screw-handle for a quick-release option to position whatever you mount. The two hexagon screws go into it, then you just glue in the **"Quickrelease_Filler_V2.stl"** Don't tighten the screws too much; it might break at some spots or after a while because there may be too much tension.
