There's a vulnerable spot in the Roidme F8 bottom joint where dropping it on its head could cause it to break, rather than simply disconnecting as a better design would have done. Given that you can't obtain a replacement part, I've developed an alternative that serves as a drop-in substitute. Update: The V5 version now addresses all the known flaws in the original design.
