A replacement encoder knob that is compatible with a wide range of Rohde & Schwarz test equipment from the year 2000 onwards. This includes the SMJ signal generator, the AMU baseband generator, the UPV audio analyzer, and many other similar vintage instruments. All the instruments I've seen that use this encoder wheel size have a raised plastic ring around the base of the wheel. This replacement encoder knob fits snugly onto a 6mm round encoder shaft with a press fit. It measures 28mm in circumference and stands just over 14mm tall. A comparison to an original part is shown in the second picture.
