Rogue Monster J-Cup Improved UHMW Replacement

This is a revised J-Cup cover designed to replace the protective UHMW strip that comes standard on the original J-Cups. The current design fits 3" J-Cups from Rogue's Monster series racks, which have either one screw or two side-by-side screws. There is also a version available for the Rogue Infinity series. The issue with the original J-Cups lies in their exposed front end, which can cause metal-on-metal strikes between the barbell and the J-Cup. This can wear down the knurling on your bar and damage the finish on both the barbell and the J-Cup, leaving them vulnerable to corrosion. This improved J-Cup cover wraps around the front lip of the cup and screws into the original hole using the same screw as before, providing a protective layer of plastic over the previously exposed metal. The cover is roughly 50% thicker than the original and features a countersunk screw for added durability. Additionally, it is wider to protect the sides of the J-Cup. The Version 2 design eliminates the side covers in favor of simplicity, making it easier to print without supports or post-processing. This version can be printed on its side with no additional processing required, which should make it more suitable for use with tougher materials.
