This is the preliminary design for a system of accessories for Rogue Fitness Monster Light weightlifting racks. The idea here is for a modular system of accessories. Initial Parts: - 5/8" x 3.75" Hex Head Bolt - 5/8" Wingnut - 5/8" Hex Nut - 5/8" Washer Printing: I've been test printing in ABS, but these should work equally well in PLA or PETG. Bolt: Printing with extra walls and 50% infill for structural. Posted are both an STL in a vertical orientation and one in horizontal. Vertical does not require supports, but having layers perpendicular to the long access introduces break points, especially at the transition from the smooth bolt shaft to threaded. I recommend either increasing wall count overall or just at area of the threads and a few mm of the shaft at the transition. However, printing it horizontally improves the overall strength as the layers are parallel to the long axis. You do however need to us supports (I tested with 20% density). You'll end up with some messy threads, but the nuts will still run OK. Nuts: Nothing specific. I used 50% infill. Washer: Nothing specific. I used 50% infill. The current hardware (bolts, washer, nuts) was originally modeled using the Nut Job SCAD file. Thanks to that creator. This is a work in progress. I'll be adding accessories shortly.
