Rogowski coil current probe, FreeCAD parametrized
thingiverse
A Rogowski coil is used to measure current flowing through a wire passing through its center. For more information, visit https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rogowski_coil. The FreeCad script creates the body of a Rogowski coil with customizable dimensions and windings. The gap in the coil allows it to easily slide over a current-carrying wire, as shown in gray on the first figure in the gallery. Windings on the coil are guided by small channels, and there are two holes in the coil's body for incoming and outgoing lead connections. A channel at the middle of the ring can be used to guide the wire back to the coil's beginning. An alternative Rogowski coil design can be found at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:283430.
