oh I forgot to post on blog.I let my friend test the Z-axis today, now we have to work on finishing touches at once as we have 80mm sec swings the table. 'm just here to finalize the updates, then it's ready for display, the video of new upgradeshttp://youtu.be/qTomO5vTES4 I've been making changes\nI'm installing a new Extruder Carriage v2 and Sanguinololu Holder Filament Spool holder that doubles as "filament guide, but still need to build "\nI had to do some Z-table stabilization and Z-axis has my custom carriage +Zschlitten, which is now glued with stabilizer"\n"hoping to have it running by the end of next week."\n--\nHi I'm a new member here\nSorry about my English not being good ,I'm from Germany\nI got inspired byhttp://www.thingiverse.com/thing:452770\nIt seems I like to name projects after the machines, I call it Rodi :P All rods are made of 8mm aluminum bar.\ni have made the Lm8uu 15x24.5mm Holder for Viacarb, a custom tooling head that makes all small components. It's not perfect but this design works surprisingly well \n"12.14"\nI did Rodi again to refine the build, updating parts\nNow Z AXIS is stable, I used a stabilizer and added a spring, then realized three ball bearing 5x13x5 wouldn't provide enough support if I hadn't taken any extra precautions on the Y-axis." I now use 8mm rod with toothed belt tensioner which provides a more solid alignment \n"12.14"\ni had all parts printed.\ntwo weeks have passed\nnow i just need to glue new spool holder onto existing, and add the spring clips for X-axis to complete it "some final details missing". \n20.14\nit was done.\ntenacious effort required\nI finished building this last piece on 13th and installed everything, except adding a display so that my Rodi has finally stabilized bed, it will be much better now to start printing new projects with high-quality resolution printshttp://youtu.be/L0xLDqD6_JI
