This updated rod holder clamp features two swinging half-moons in its jaws to correct any deviations from the canoe's profile and prevent cuts on corners if faces aren't parallel. The support rod now oscillates smoothly on a spherical surface while maintaining orthogonality. A Velcro strip ensures the fishing rod stays secure, with adjustable tightness to avoid losing valuable carbon rods. Made of anodized aluminum for the clamp, aluminum knobs, and inox steel wires and bolts, it weighs 1.58 kg. For a wooden version, see Rodholder Clamp V3 (Wood).
