This is a fully scalable house designed specifically for 3D printing. It was built to provide a range of fun enrichment activities, including a chimney that can easily be climbed and sides with extra grip features for safe climbing. We put it to the test with our mice, and they absolutely loved it. The initial photos show an earlier version before I added the Christmas Mouse image to the roof. This version had internal rings within the chimney, but unfortunately, there were some printing issues that caused it to be narrower than planned. Fortunately, the surface of the 3D printed model was rough enough that it provided plenty of grip for climbing. Print Settings: Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator 2X Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.1 Infill: 100% Notes: The unique design of the roof and angled windows allowed me to print this model without support structures. I used a high infill percentage, 100%, to give the walls added strength in case they needed to withstand gnawing.
