RODE PSA1 Clamp Replacement
thingiverse
This print serves as a replacement piece for the plastic housing that comes with the RØDE PSA1 Studio Arm, assuming you still have the original metal bar that would have come apart to feed into it. You can see an example of a break similar to mine here: https://www.reddit.com/r/rode/comments/uwlxoe/psa1_base_broke/ I'd recommend buying some rubber feet to put under this print so you don't ruin your desk, but it works fine without it. My print settings are a very loose suggestion, I was fortunate enough to have my print succeed first try, and has lasted the past week without buckling under the pressure of my RØDE NT1-A set and microphone shield. Edit: Six Months On --------------------- An update from the future with my printed piece. After 6 months of daily use with my heavy microphone, swinging and shifting it's weight, and the odd accidental punch while in VR, this piece has yet to crack, crumble or fault under the pressure. It is still going incredibly strong and actually seems more stable than the original piece was. While I still suggest rubber feet to avoid desk damage, I haven't really noticed any scratches or degradation of rumble mitigation without, but YMMV.
