I was looking for a custom shock mount specifically designed for my Rode NT USB Mini, but couldn't find one that fit its unique shape. This design works perfectly and allows you to choose between two different heights, depending on your hair tie or rubber band preference. You can either screw the inner piece into place or use the rubber thing for a pressure fit. The screw method produces better results, although it's essential to test the pieces first to adjust the horizontal expansion. I recommend printing the hooks on the outer part at a slower speed setting and designing supports into the model. I printed the shock mount in Carbon Fiber PETG for its sleek appearance, but PLA should also work fine. The hair ties used are standard 40 by 3mm.
