This lamp shade transforms an IKEA Rodd light fixture into an ambient light source by utilizing wall/uplighter design and accommodating 10-20 watts fluorescent bulbs. Laser-cut 3mm plywood and opaque acrylic or polystyrene are required for construction, involving attachment of two plastic pieces in the middle wood section, followed by gluing the bottom piece to the structure and finally attaching the top/front piece after drying. It is recommended to use fluorescent bulbs with 10-20 watts power, while classic lightbulbs should be avoided due to heat concerns near a flammable wooden cover.
