I'm designing a small tripod stand for our mini Christmas tree and it's turning out great! I've made sure it can hold both round and square rods, just specify which diagonal you want it to be. You can also choose between thin or strong legs, add leg pads for better stability, and even open up the bottom if that's your thing. It's a really versatile design, but one tip I would give is to use the leg pads at the end of each leg for improved bed adhesion - just set the Leg Pads parameter to 0.1 and you can easily detach them later if you prefer a cleaner look on your tripod.
