We're looking to create a compact tripod for our miniature Christmas tree, so I ended up designing a parametric stand for rods that's perfect for the task.\n\nThis versatile design can accommodate either round or square rods (simply specify the diagonal dimension), and it can be tailored to be as thin or robust as needed.\n\nFor added stability, I recommend using leg pads at the end of each leg, which can easily be detached later if you prefer a cleaner tripod appearance.
