Rod spacer

Rod spacer

thingiverse

This is a basic spacer that keeps rods at an even distance from each other. I created this for my clothes drying rack, as my vacuum robot kept pushing one rod against the other and making it fall down. The design covers half of the object; you'll need to print two of them and glue them together. The design is fully parametric but I didn't use OpenSCAD because it can be difficult to work with fillets. Instead, I used Fusion360. You can find the Fusion360 source in the downloads, where you just need to open Modify / Change parameters and adjust the rod diameter and length to suit your needs. The STL file is designed for rods that are 16mm in diameter and 14cm long (28cm when both halves are together), with a width of 2cm. You can also simply scale the item to fit your rod's diameter, or leave a comment with the size you need and I'll consider publishing it if I have time.
