Rod End Cap

I constructed a laundry closet and decided to incorporate a portable laundry basket system I had been using to separate colors, as I do take that step. The portable system utilized extremely thin rods and featured a mesh beneath them to prevent the cloth bags from sagging; an option not available for this design since I intended to pull it out like a drawer for easy access. This design employs thicker rods (13mm ID/16mm OD) that should resist bending under a heavy load, as confirmed by local experts at Bunnings Hardware Store. The end cap allows you to slip on or attach rods to the drawer slide with ease. Additional details are provided below: The end cap features M5 threading, including 12 and 12.5mm ID versions. Optional M3 holes are drilled through the center of the end cap for securing the rod in place. The drawer slide is designed for side mounting, is zinc-plated, and can support up to 125kg without locking, which suits my high laundry needs quite well.
